Positives:
We booked thru booking.com. Had to change dates, which was confirmed with confirmation number and pin number. Drove 13 hours to property to be told NO ROOM available. Property blamed booking.com and of course booking.com blamed the property. Spoke to booking.com directly and they verified info was sent to the property regarding the changes. Needless to say our business relationship with booking.com and Candlewood Suites, Bluffton has come to an end. Never Again.

It was very clean. Everything was provided. The bed was so comfortable. Staff was friendly & helpful. I was traveling for a wedding. I needed a full-size fridge for the cake. It worked perfectly. The location was perfect. It was only 2 miles to the venue. I needed to pick up a couple of extra things & there were several places nearby like Walmart, Publix & Food Lion to purchase those items. I really enjoyed my stay here & will definitely recommend it.

The key card worked very intermittently. Once, it took me about 10 minutes to get into my room. I asked about it at the desk. They showed me using theirs how to position it. I'm not sure if they checked it while I was gone, but it worked better. Others in rooms near mine were complaining about it too. It was inconvenient & a safety issue. This needs to be addressed. It would be nice if a breakfast of some sort were offered.

We ended up staying four nights in the microwave did not work until the last day we were there. They had someone coming to fix it, The next day after I Complained but it still did not work. I planned on heating up a lot of food in that microwave so that was a disappointment to say the least.

Floor was sticky. The room felt unclean, and it had an unpleasant smell. When yo enter a hotel and there are bullet proof security doors and glass, that makes you want to turn around and leave. Didn't seem safe. A lot of construction workers staying there and drinking outside late into the night. English was a second language.

Did not find the staff to be very accommodating. Couldn't get an early check in - No "do not disturb" or "make up room" signs on the door. Had to go to the desk to get fresh towels. They provided the bare minimum.
