Negatives: Had only 1 sink. I've been at hotels my past visits and each one has 2 sinks. 1 in the bathroom and one outside that bathroom door. Especially when you have family sleeping in one room. Negatives: Hotel staff need hospitality lessons. 1. Staff member "Ronnie" was VERY rude. My wife and I were visiting family, who came to our hotel pool one morning. It was very stuffy and humid in the enclosed pool area, so my (69-year-old) wife soon exited the door to the outside (even as a door sign said that the door was "to remain closed at all times"), making sure the door was closed behind her. She took outside one of the cheap, plastic pool-area chairs, to sit on out on the concrete walk. Ronnie came up to her and curtly asked "Can't you read?" He then stated "That door is to remain closed at all times." First of all, if my wife couldn't actually read, she wouldn't need to be humiliated by some two-bit tyrant-in-training, who sought to "enforce the sign." The sign claimed an unmentioned city code for authority, not even exempting emergency use. I don't believe such a code exists. I do know that fire safety codes would REQUIRE the door to be there, for emergency egress, at the minimum. Ronnie must have really been in his element when enforcing mask mandates during covid. When my grown son went out to aid his mother, Ronnie told him that "he wasn't that special" to exempt him from the sign (by the way, my son starts as a prison guard at the South Dakota State Prison next week [I don't imagine he'll treat many inmates so brusquely]).
