I booked the wrong location on the opposite side of town and they refused to give me a refund and was very rude and ugly about it so I had to pay for 2 rooms at 2 different red roof in hotels.

The hotel itself wasn't that bad, but due to not being able to get into a room until 3 hours passed when I got there, I wasn't able to enjoy any of the amenities.
Negatives:
The staff was very rude. There were hidden fees I was never notified of, which caused me to be stuck outside of the hotel for close to 3 hours with a baby in the middle of the night until I could get the money for said hidden fees. When I notified the staff about the fact, I was never notified there would be extra fees (for a deposit that I would get back) I was told that's not their problem and to figure it out. I understand the staff has no control over the fees, but the customer service in this instance was just atrocious. I have had hotels in the past waive the deposit but still put my card on file just in case when people weren't properly notified about additional fees. I would have had no problem paying the fees had I known about them because then I could have made sure I had the extra cash.
