The only thing I liked was the fact that it was located 10 minutes from the wedding venue.
Negatives:
The facility was dirty, run down, disgusting. The staff was rude and unprofessional. I went to tell the front desk staff about my concerns about the cleanliness of the room, the water damage, etc. And the staffs response was "well, this is the best room you'll get at this rate in this area". Unfortunately, I did not have the finances or the time to find another room and get a refund from this hotel at that point in time. I was not the only one dissatisfied with the facility. As I was checking out, another guest was complaining about the cleanliness and damages to the room. He had pictures of all the issues (as do i). The staff still had nothing to say about anything. Not even an apology was given. At one point, the front desk agent said, "What do you want me to do about it?" When the guest said, "give me a refund on this room", the agent said "no". This hotel is so bad that, in my opinion, it needs to be shut down. I have worked in housekeeping for hotels, hospitals, and schools for 20 years now. This was, by far, the worst I have seen.

I liked the price and location. It was fairly clean and I felt safe. I liked I was able to use cash and not have to pay a deposit, like 80% of the hotels in Austin.
Negatives:
I didn't like that as soon as I got in the room take a shower and got out, my sink started to back up with water, and talk about the foul odor!! I asked the dude if I could change rooms and he said no super booked. Even now all of the first-floor rooms were empty, and when I checked out ALL the rooms were still vacant. He could have switched my room, I didn't arrive until close to midnight.

The place was filthy. Black spots on ceiling in shower stall. Wall needed painting. Tv worked for about 10 minutes then picture went fuzzy & stayed that way. No ice bucket & tray it stayed on looked like dead bugs. Overhaul very very unimpressed & this being the 2nd one WILL NEVER STAY THEIR AGAIN
