The lady behind the desk was exceptionally nice & as helpful as she could be.

I made a reservation for 1 night May 18-19 on the Booking.com app. When we arrived at the desk, we were told "we are completely sold out" due to extensive power outages in the area & that I must have reserved for another location or date. When I looked at my confirmation email from Booking.com, sure enough, the reservation showed as May 19-20. I KNOW I did NOT seek a reservation for that date & I'm stumped as to why Booking.com jumped forward a day when I completed the reservation process. Furthermore, when I tried to cancel the reservation for the 19th, it told me there was a $114 forfeiture. A refund request has been submitted but is still pending. Overall, a negative experience making me wary of future reservations thru Booking.com...

A convenient location to use...

The hotel was in a great location around plenty of restaurants, and Walmart was right around the corner for those who needed to pick up last minute items.
Negatives:
The AC didn't really work in the room, and in Texas you need AC. It was miserably hot at night.
