Friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the lobby & room, good working AC & room amenities.
Negatives:
Pillows were too soft & didn't provide neck support for side sleeping. The bed was nicely firm, but could use some kind of topper for added softness... The springs underneath can be felt when laying down.
Disappointed that the pool was closed, but looked clean & inviting, especially on days with 100* + temperatures. Grab & go breakfast consisted of items like granola bars & muffins. No hot foods.
Location was good for access to hospitals, but other than Denny's, there are no near by restaurants or stores. Inconvenient to have to drive 10 minutes away to get meals/groceries or pay for a delivery service.
I would use this chain again, but probably not this location.

The pool was closed rooms were sum what clean nothing in the room like coffee maker etc and we rented two rooms. no ice

Staff was extremely polite. The entire hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, I would stay here again.

Convenient location to the Medical center with easy access to main roads.
Manager's willingness to offer different rooms to make up for our disappointing check-in and poor first night.
Negatives:
Our reservation was for two rooms, one with Queen and the other with two singles. The double room had distinct cigarette odor which could not be overcome with cleaners. We could not sleep there. The desk clerk offered a queen bed replacement which didn't suit two large young men. We gave them ours, with a fold out couch. The first night was miserable as the foldout bed was nothing but springs and the queen was faulty and noisy. Plus mold in the bathroom and threadbare upholstery and carpet.
The Breakfast to go was a joke. Coffee was good, but Nature Valley granola bars is not 'breakfast, neither are the smaller candy style granola snack bars. Instant oatmeal packets with no water. Clerk said 'muffins' would be available, but never showed. That morning we were given the excuse that the manager was out and he had the key to the office where the muffins were.
Again no muffins the second morning and at 8:25 the coffee pot was empty and only 3 granola bars available. Very disappointed.
The swimming pool was out of service - I would wager ,"indefinitely".
The fitness room universal machine was not in great shape. Decent cardio machines, 'though .
Trash piled up on both ends of the hallways on several floors and in the outside trashcan.
I suspect that housekeeping is short-staffed and the hotel has made some cost saving cutbacks.
