The property stated it was a smoke free property. However, the room I stayed in smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes in there a every day. Also loud maintenance was being done on the room above me. Heard loud noises early morning and throughout the day as i was resting(trying to) and working ;trying to). The elevators where old and badly maintained. Felt scared for my safety on them. Lastly, the wallpaper was torn and square holes covered every section of the hallways that were also extremely hot with no A/C, only in the rooms did it feel cool.

I like the location of the hotel which was the reason I picked it. It was close to all the locations I planned on visiting.
Negatives:
The lighting in the room was poor. The shower had what looked like mold in the ceiling and the shower faucet leaked. The doors were not secured. It was just a deadbolt you could easily unhook from the outside. It was very scary sleeping there with a small child.

It was too hard to get the linen changed - policy was if your stay was longer than 3 days, the linen would be changed without request - that didnt happen/ the 3 soap dispensers in the shower were all empty - in 4 nights, the soap dispensers remained unfilled. The ice-maker on the 1st floor was the only ice-maker that worked in the entire building.
