Comfort and location were great, staff was friendly as usual. My only complaint is that they charged us $250 for a “smoking” fee. No evidence, no warning or heads up. I just noticed it on my card a week later. When I called they said the guests next to us said we were smoking? First off, I’m 19, can’t even buy a cigarette. Second of all, I checked in at 6 but didn’t arrive for the night until midnight then woke up 10:30 and left right away. I’m not sure where they got the smoking from but it was upsetting to see we were charged with no heads up, evidence, or reasoning. When I called and told them the situation they supposedly had to call the other guests who accused of smoking to get their side of the story. They eventually dropped the fee and gave me a short and dry apology. Anyways, I wouldn’t recommend a hotel that’ll try to secretly charge you $250 for a smoking fee when it’s far from the truth. I’ll chose another hotel next time I visit St. George, usually Best Western is my go to but not anymore.
