Comfort Inn & Suites Salt Lake City Airport

Negatives: Appears our room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Our nightstand had visible sticky residue and cup rings from a spill or something. Our shower also had soap wrappers in the metal soap holder. We had just driven 10 hours and were exhausted so just wanted go get to sleep. I used lysol wipes i found in my bag. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

Negatives: We accidentally picked a room that was for handicap! I asked if we could move she told me no that I used a 3rd party I would t be able to! The shower well it flooded the entire bathroom with each shower! Poor setup maybe just old and and needs some updates!

Negatives: Nothing. Everything was great. Definitely would stay again.

Negatives: Still no recycling or composting lbins in the room not in the kitchen/breakfast area.

Negatives: The pool closed very early the night we stayed.

Negatives: We liked everything but the beds were a little uncomfortable and expensive

Negatives: I paid for a room for my parents who were stuck at the airport due to flight issues. When they arrived at the hotel they was told they didnt have a reservation for them and they had to pay for their stay. They paid $---. My bank card was charged $---.

Negatives: Pool was not open and that was the main reason we booked for the kids to have a place to swim and unwind after being in the car all day. So that was a disappointment.

Negatives: Bed was not that comfortable. Kind of lumpy.

Negatives: No one ever contacted me about using the hotel van even though I indicated that I was interested in the shuttle. The shuttle doesn’t begin running until 6am so if your flight is before then you are out of luck. The refrigerator and ac unit in the room I was in was so loud I was startled out of sleep several times. The door at the end of the first floor hall by room 100 slams and kept me up all day and night. It’s incredibly jarring. Dog next door barked for hours. When I informed the front desk I was informed that they knew but that the owners weren’t answering their phones. There wasn’t an offer to move me to a different room even though I just checked in. Dogs being left in on property in jeep for at least two days barked at all hours of the day and night. Front desk informed me there was nothing they could do. Will be seeking other accommodations.

Negatives: Bait and switch on pet fee, which was higher than what was quoted by phone, even though we sent a note via the booking.com “special requests” feature confirming the fee amount. The manager would not yield. We were moved from the top floor (which does not have “dog-friendly” rooms) to the 3rd floor, where ironically, we were beneath a room with kids running about until 11 pm, while our dog was out cold. We knocked on their door and the father was very apologetic and looked thoroughly overwhelmed. Perhaps they were on Eastern time. Too bad the staff was not as nice as the guests.
