The pool and hot tub were clean and the perfect temperature.

It was basic lodging. It wasnt as advertised. We thought we were going to be staying at a high end resort. Not! When we booked we were under the impression we would be staying at a a gorgeous historic inn not what I would describe to be more like a motel. It was a very chilly weekend but they wouldnt put the fireplace on. The staff said they werent allowed until sometime in November. The toiletries were very low quality and minimal. Glad I had my own. Our room was not refreshed the whole time we were there(3 nights). The thermostat did not work so we were unable to turn up the heat when needed.

Would love it if they kept the warm tea out in the evening. Thats my only complaint, which is barely one.

Awesome Hotel
Positives:
Loved the place got lucky and had some beautiful weather to hang out by the pool. I had a massage and facial at the spa. The facial was delightful. The Aveda products are used. Dinner at the Castle was a beautiful experience. The food was delicious and the setting amazing. Sorry to hear about the devastating flooding earlier this year. Everyone in town takes it in stride and helps each other out. Sweet little Bermont Resort town.

I liked this hotel because it was in a beautiful location, close to town, clean nice room and the front desk person was very friendly and helpful in recommending where to go for dinner.
Positives:
The room was very large, full kitchen, separate bedroom and large bath. We enjoyed all that space for a change! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The town of Ludlow is only a few miles away and has many small places to eat and enjoy the weather.
Negatives:
The room needs a little maintenance. The shower head is broken and no longer adjusts the spray, the volume on the gas fireplace only spits out a few small flames, The TV remote was a little hard to figure out. STILL a good experience.

No room cleaning for 3 nights stay.
