Negatives: Trash piled up right outside the elevator for most of the day every day that we were there

Negatives: Only one elevator was working and could not use the stairs. So waited a bit for elevator.

Negatives: I read on the web page that there was a shuttle between the hotel and the metro station Van Dorn, but after arrival it turned out it does not exist, so this was misleading. If you arrive by car it is great, free parking - but even though a short walk, it is "life threatening" as Google puts it, because need to cross 6 lanes of traffice

Negatives: No places to walk to in the vicinity to eat. We also had to take a taxi just to get to the Metro a half mile away.

Negatives: My stay was for 4/16-4/19. Upon my arrival Sandy G. and nother African American employee were at the desk. Sandy looked up at me with an unpleasant face and asked me how can she help me? When I educated her that I was there for my scheduled stay and had early check- in she immediately told me there were no rooms available or ready right now. I told her I have communication from Booking and this property advising that an early check in would be added to my reservation for 25.00. Sandy G said no then her coworkers who was standing there said no one here would've told you that. I showed my Booking reservation with communication from the property stating they couls accommodate my early arrival with a 25.00 fee. Sandy G never apologized for her jumping the gun and rudely telling me no. She instead with an attitude finalized my reservation and assigned me a room. Then on 4/18 of my stay my son who lives in Alexandria, VA came ro visit me and he brought his cat with him thinking that this was a pet friendly hotel. The African American heavy set lady with red curly hair at the desk very rudely told my son he couldn't bring the cat into the hotel. My son said okay and waited for me outside on the parking lot in the designated smoking area. He was having a serious issue I was helping him with. My daughter goes back into the hotel to go to our room and hears the clerk in the back of the office talking rudely and loudly about my son and ranting a raving about a cat. A cat that never re-entered the hotel after being refused entry. How rude and unprofessional. When I returned inside of the hotel I spoke ro tje clerk and told her there is no cat in this building . Then I said ro her I am a mother and would never allow my children to break the rules of this hotel and her behavior was excessive. The staff needs some MAJOR PROFESSIONALISM AND PEOPLE SKILLS!! I will never stay here again!!! Horrible customer service and experience!

Negatives: Breakfast was OK

Negatives: The smell in the bathroom there was mold in the shower and no restaurant walking distance

Negatives: You cannot close the curtain in the room so anyone can just look into the room from the outside, this is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen staying in a hotel. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Someone went into the room while I was away, came back to the room with all the lights on when I turned every light off before leaving. Contacted the front desk and they said staff did not go into the room because the do not disturb sign was on the door. They said they would check the cameras but never contacted me back, ended up leaving the hotel early due to feeling unsafe knowing someone was in my room while I was away and hotel staff didn’t do anything about it.
