Positives:
Transfer availability to the Metro station and on departure, to the airport. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices adequate with fruit, hot option, juices and cereal. Large firm bed, Double sink separate from the toilet and shower was useful for 3 guests. Basic kitchen utensils etc and a fridge freezer.
Negatives:
Suite was on 2nd level and no lift so not great for longer than 1 night if you have with heavy cases. Rooms, decor and fittings are tired and dated. Sofa bed was tatty, torn worn cushions and pull out bed had thin cheap quality mattress, not great for 3 nights sleep. Lounge area was poorly lit, dark and dismal. Bedroom door didn’t close properly so needed to use top locking latch. Not ideal when guests in the lounge need to access the bathroom by walking through the bedroom, especially during the night. It seems to be pretty common but highly unpleasant to eat and drink with 100% disposable plastic plates, dishes, cups and cutlery. Particularly difficult to cut and eat any food with a flimsy plastic knife and fork on a thin plastic disposable plate. Lastly, although suitable for trips into Washington, the isolated location and no nearby shops, takeaways or restaurants meant long walks, booking taxis or trying to order a takeaway delivery when the suite numbering was confusing and impossible for drivers to locate. Staff were great but this hotel really isn’t anything like we had expected. Major overhaul and modernisation, food available on site and some takeaway leaflets really needed to make this a place we’d recommend. PS Airport collection transfer apparently stops at 6pm on weekends instead of the advertised 10pm which is just on weekdays. Arriving after a long cross Atlantic flight and immigration queues at 8.45pm we were expecting a quick transfer but instead we were faced with trying to contact the property then finding a taxi which cost us $20. Wasted time at the airport was the worst aspect, unnecessary and very unwelcome.

Clean, quiet, great location near...
Positives:
The property was well maintained. The room was well-equipped with cooking utensils and there was plenty of space for our three children too.
Negatives:
There were some signs of wear and tear in the room, including a towel with a hole in it, and the door handle was tricky to open after inserting the key card. The breakfast was disappointing regarding the quality of the food and the unavailability of the pancake maker.

Close to Dulles airport. Cab fare from the airport to hotel for three people with luggage at 11:00pm on a Monday was $--. Can leave your car for $5 a night. Free airport shuttle.
