Positives:
Breakfast was awesome. The staff was friendly. The young lady at breakfast was awesome.
Negatives:
Im a paralyzed Navy veteran. My room was not accessible. The bathroom was next to impossible to get into. The restaurant hours were not great. We would have loved to be able to had a dinner there. Not having any type of small little store, like most hotels do, that sell drinks, snacks, toiletries people may have forgotten, etc would have made our stay much nicer. Only having vending machines with limited choices was disappointing. It would be different if there was a small store next door but we needed to leave the island to get those types of items. We had to use DoorDash to get dinner.

Not informed of construction in progress (that started at 6:50AM) nor of closure of restaurant/bar until checked in.
Outside patio was not clean, chairs were folding chairs & were grossly dirty; breakfast served on FLIMSY paper plates that wouldn't support a waffle; breakfast poorly stocked (i.e., not quick refills of bacon, eggs, etc). Still have the best tasting coffee, however.
Understand property was sold and new owner attempting to improve hotel but I paid more than I've ever paid to stay at this hotel (have stayed here many times) and it was really irritating. It would seem that patrons should be getting a discount during this remodeling project and the lack of services. The "we're sorry for the inconvenience " doesn't cut it.

We paid extra for a river view, but was placed in a room with a tree directly in front of the window. Room 348. Our neighbors had indisciplined kids that banged on the walls, jumped and rough played to where the walls shook, and were also running up and down the halls. The breakfast area needs to be set up differently; everyone bunches up near the toaster and waffle maker, as well as backtracking for utensils.

Water front and accompanying to my fur babies. Breakfast was a nice addition to the long drive that day.

The bed was a rock. The heating/cooling system ran all the time. Dried out my sinuses and gave my boyfriend a sore throat.
