Location was good. The staff was helpful, most especially the valet employees; they were friendly and smiled on the day we arrived. You can request for physical key cards in addition to using the digital key via the app.
Negatives:
It was difficult to speak with the manager because he kept mumbling his words and his first language isn’t English. He needs to listen, speak slowly while enunciating his words. It was frustrating talking to him; he kept repeating himself instead of being an active listener. However, he did finally offer to come up to my room to discuss my concerns.
The valets the next day were so serious in their suits and didn’t greet you or smile.
I was not happy with the Family Suite I booked. The pictures posted on their site doesn’t paint the whole picture of what the room really looks like in person.
In retrospect, I should have read the reviews before booking this hotel…even if I did though, I don’t believe I came across reviews dealing with a lot of my observations. I saw the online booking price and pictures of the room with a view and thought it was nice enough for my family while visiting (downtown) Seattle for the first time. Considering the amount I paid in total…it wasn’t worth the cost. We’ve been traveling a lot since last April 2023 and staying in different types of motels and hotels so I was very surprised to see how outdated this hotel was.
The bathrooms! Especially, the “master” bathroom…OMG!!! My fiancé said he had to use the other toilet because his back would hit the counter. I was shocked at how small the bathroom was and how close the toilet was to the counter! Only very slender people and children would be able to sit comfortably! Also, the toilet has the long, silver-colored handle that sticks out of the side where you either push it down with your hand (which I never do because I think it disgusting to touch) or use your shoe/foot to step on it to flush. Totally reminded me of being at a rest stop

Really close to Pike's Place Market! We could walk over there, to various shopping options and restaurants. You can also walk to the tram that goes to the Space Needle.
Negatives:
From the lobby, you have to walk down a flight of stairs to get the elevator up to your room, or up a flight of stairs to the elevator up to your room. This is not ADA compliant, which was not a huge problem for us, but is just a warning for others. To be fair, they may warn people of this ahead of time, we didn't look as it's not necessary for us, but I feel it's important to highlight this for others that may be booking in the future just in case.
