Positives:
The location right on the water was nice. It's also walking distance (about 15 min) to the local museums. They include breakfast and the staff was friendly enough. The pool is big and includes a hot tub.
Negatives:
The rooms need some updating. They look...OK...but have a little bit of that old, musty hotel smell. The common areas appear to have been remodeled to some degree since the last time I stayed there when it was a Howard Johnson but the rooms just got a paint job and different sheets.

Excellent stay - 5 stars! The hotel has been completely updated inside. The room was beautiful - Very Clean. The colors are bright, happy and soothing. The view over the harbour was stunning. The breakfast room was freshly painted - breakfast was available a little earlier than the posted 7am time (we appreciated the earlier time). Check-in was fabulous. The manager was very nice, patiently answered all of our questions, had suggestions for dinner. Our room was very quiet. Parking is on the same lot as hotel. A wonderful stay. Thank you!
