Staybridge Suites Middleton/Madison-West

Negatives: Not sure if we were considered an extended stay since it was 7 nights, but even after going to the front desk and asking for a room cleaning, it was not cleaned a single time. We just needed a light touch with the trash taken out and a couple fresh towels. Ended up going to the front desk for a couple trash bags and took it out myself. Also be sure to go to breakfast early on the weekends as it gets eaten up and there may not be much left closer to 8:30/9

Negatives: the door to the pool and weight room was directly behind the headboard of our bed. EVERY time someone went in our out of this door it would shake the wall and give a big boom. this continued through 12pm. so as we were trying to fall asleep it would startle us awake when this occurred because it was so loud.

Negatives: Very sporadic housekeeping - there was no logic to what was done and when. Beds were only made once in 8 days, had to repeatedly ask for more toilet rolls and bins to be emptied. Towels were changed a couple of times. Breakfast was very repetitive and the use of paper plates and plastic cutlery was odd. Whilst the facilities were clean, the room and facilities are in need of an update as looked very shabby and a lot of things were broken or in a poor state.

Negatives: After first night the rooms wasn’t cleaned or had fresh towels

Negatives: We didn’t stay at the hotel that was booked due to damage. The day before we were notified that they moved our reservation to a different property. The property we were moved to was outdated and not anything similar to what we booked initially.

Negatives: See above. Also, our son was not directly informed by hotel staff that his room reservation was also not being honored and they only learned about the change after he was already driving, from 200+ miles away to get to the hotel. Hotel staff told him, after he called them himself, that they had expected me to tell my son what had occurred. He is an adult and your hotel should have had the courtesy to tell him personally. In his room at the alternate hotel he and his wife found excrement on the walls in the bathroom. They also found hair ( not their own) left on the floor of the room and so, were not willing to let their 10-month old play on the floor of their hotel room. I think you owe both me and my son substantial refunds of at least half the total you have already collected or more.

Negatives: Can not think of anything I didn't like.

Negatives: breakfast was fine, a little underwhelming and standard.
