Even though I had a confirmation number through booking. Com the lady at the desk said we didn’t have a reservation. I showed her the confirmation and the email and she said it had been cancelled so she made me book another room at a higher rate and I charged it to a different credit card. Today I have checked with the credit card company and they are showing that the original credit card I used to book through booking.com had been charged so I am being charged twice for the same room. I just spoke with the manager at the hotel and she assured me that they had only charged me once and she said booking.com must have made the other charge even though I had been told that I did not have a reservation through booking.com. I am requesting that booking.com refund the charge to my credit card. I may be reached at 785-821-0100.
