Positives: I have used this hotel many times over the past 20 years and have always used it because it was next door to a fabulus family restaurant which I understand has closed. Such a loss for a traveler wanting a good meal without having to drive for it.

Positives: it was an acceptable/passable room for a stop during a road trip. The beds were clean and comfortable. The front desk person was nice.

Negatives: Of all the places we stayed this road trip this one ranked the dirtiest. The sink was not clean - had black stuff in it. The carpet was dirty and felt gross underfoot. The bathroom had stuff on the walls, The shower was disgusting and dirty.

Positives: The guy who checked us in was nice.

Negatives: Gross bathroom; dirty tub, wad of nasty hair in a corner. Wadded up kleenex/paper under luggage thing, "non smoking" room stunk of smoke, bedspread had 2 burn holes in it, light switches dusty not wiped off, TV remote not clean. Breakfast minimal, coffee machine and ice machine broken. Clumps of dirt on carpets in hall, weird smells. Rawlins is filled with empty, nasty, abandoned hotels....guessing this one is headed that way. Next time we will keep driving to Laramie.
