About This Property

On 70 private wooded acres on the western slope of the Catskill Mountains, our pet friendly Mountain Chalet Retreat Cabin is a post and beam cabin with 1200 square feet of open space that includes a great room, media area and sleeping loft. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and modern appliances. There is a washer/dryer in the closet. The bathroom has a tub with shower. The chalet cabin is heated with a gas wood stove plus baseboard heat. We would prefer you unplug while you are here and immerse yourselves in our nature, but we also provide you with high speed WiFi and HD TV. Dogs are able to run loose as long as they will not disturb folks who may be staying in one of our yurts. Your pets will love going on our hiking trails with you. Comfortable and cozy for 1 or 2 people, the cabin is able, with the use of Ikea daybed couches and an Ikea sleeper sofa, to accommodate up to 8 people. The large surround deck has a screened in porch in the back under the trees. Although the cabin is enveloped by trees, the front of the chalet has a spacious view of the 2-acre meadow with fields and mountains beyond. The big campfire out front is just for you, as are the stars. Our Mountain Chalet Retreat Cabin is open all year. Its wrap-around windows bring nature inside. Our trails are great for hiking and cross country.
