What's better than a summer road trip with your furry sidekick? Taking lots of adorable pics of your pup as you travel, of course! So, fellow Triangle pet parents, be on high alert for perfect pet travel photo ops this summer, as the right shot could give you a chance to win big.
Today we're announcing TripsWithPets.com's very first "Triangle's Next Top Travel Dog Model" Instagram contest, in which we'll be searching for the area's prettiest pooch on-the-go.
The best photo, that also best fits the theme of the contest, will be chosen as the winner. The grand prize winner and their dog will be awarded a 4-night, TripsWithPets.com getaway for up to 4 human guests and 2 pooches at Hidden Creek Cabins in Bryson City, NC, where they can enjoy luxury accommodations and explore the famously scenic Smoky Mountains with their photogenic pooch.
The contest grand prize winner will also receive a TripsWithPets.com Pet Travel Gear Package and their winning photo will be featured on the TripsWithPets.com website and various social media outlets.
So, whether you’re hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains, checking in at a pet friendly hotel, going on a car ride, romping at a dog friendly beach in the Outer Banks, or sharing a meal at an amazing pet friendly restaurant, enter your pics! We can’t wait to see them.
Contest runs July 15 - August 15, 2016.
To Enter:
- Take a photo of your traveling pooch
- Post your photo to your personal Instagram account with the hashtag #TriangleTravelDog
- Tag @tripswithpets in your photo
- Caption your photo with your dog's name, where picture was taken, and city of residence (entrants must reside in the Triangle area of North Carolina)
- Follow @tripswithpets on Instagram
- Enter by August 15, 2016

Contest Rules:
Participants must live in the Triangle area of NC, and they must follow @tripswithpets on Instagram. Photos entered in the contest must be of dogs traveling and then posted on Instagram with hashtag #triangletraveldog. Photos must be captioned with the dog's name, the location where the picture was taken, and the dog's city of residence. Tag @tripswithpets in your photo. Participants must post original photos. Entries must be received by 11:59 PM on August 15, 2016. Limit of 3 photo entries per participant. This contest is in no way sponsored, administered, or associated with Instagram, Inc.
