The Pony Express National Historic Trail is the site of where horse riders used to ride as quick as they could to deliver the mail. The opposite of today's snail mail. Most of the original trail has been ravaged through time and human use. There is a Pony Express statue and other points of interest along the historic trail where you can bring your leashed pup throughout the grounds. Please be sure your pet is on a leash no longer than six feet and that you do not bring them into any of the buildings.
