National Mall

The National Mall is a two-mile stretch of monuments, including the Capital and the White House. Leashed, well-behaved pets are allowed to walk the length of the mall. They can come up to monument steps, giving you an up-close and personal view, but they can't enter the monuments themselves. Pets are not permitted to enter the walkways at the Vietnam Memorial or the Korean War Memorial.
