Fort Barrancas offers hiking, great scenery, restrooms and picnicking. The Fort is open year long. From March to October they are open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and from November to February they are open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed, cleaned up after and attended at all times. Dogs are allowed in picnic areas and on the natural trail but are not permitted in the fort or other buildings.
