BREC's Bluebonnet Swamp spans a full 101 acres, and offers a spectacular view of Louisiana's beautiful and iconic flora and fauna. One day out of each season, visitors are invited to bring their (leashed and well-behaved) dogs to tour the trails and the nature center. The days pets are allowed vary each year, so interested pet parents should call ahead.
