Hampton National Historic Site

The Hampton National Historic Site showcases the broader aspect of this unique place, including slavery indentured servitude, and agricultural life in Colonial times. At the time it was built, in the late 18th century, this showpiece was the largest house in the United State. Hampton still retains its charm and grandeur today, as well as its impeccably cared for gardens and grounds. Your well-mannered, friendly pet can tour the grounds with you -- he just can't come into the buildings, and his leash must be no longer than six feet in length.
