Positives:
Very nice location. Walking distance to museums and tidal basin. Went to see the cherry blossoms a few weeks ago.
Negatives:
Overpriced parking.

Very good
Positives:
Loved that the hotel was on the Wharf. There is a public free bus that takes you right to the National Mall which was super helpful after long days of walking. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They had a wonderful breakfast buffet which was super busy. The wait staff did an incredible job staying on top of it.
The hotel was clean and quiet. It was very modern and welcoming. They have some nice outdoor space with fire pits and grassy area with chairs and game space. Great spot to see the fireworks!
They have board games in the lobby which was great to help get us out of the room for a bit. Coffee and tea were available in the lobby as well.
The room was what you would expect in a big city but well done. (Sofa bed and king bed). My kids loved the idea that the TV could swivel!
Negatives:
I will say the beds where horrible! The mattress on the sofa bed was non existence, I even had to ask for 2 comforters to put on the beds to add some depth. We had 2 kids sleeping on it and I felt so bad.
If you order anything from the bar restaurant you need to allow extra time. Seemed the whole weekend they were running late. I was the only person and I ordered a side of fries which took 35 mins. I understand things happen but it just seems the kitchen may need a little extra staffing. Not the worst, just enjoyed a drink while I waited but something to consider.
The parking was astronomical! I understand it's the Whalf BUT 3days coats us $180. I feel if the hotel only had the option of the garage they should have some sort of discount for customers. Very disappointing.
*Not related to the hotel itself* please know that ALL the restaurants in the Wharf are $$$ so if you're a family on a budget keep that in mind.

Exceptional
Positives:
Room was OK needs some updating. The Sofa bed was broke upon arrival and it took way to much effort to get enough replacement beds. They finally brough a second rollaway bed but just left it in the hall without indicating it was there.
Negatives:
The price is very high when considering the cost of the parking that was necessary to stay on property.

Positives:
Breakfast and location were the best. It was a safe Clean area. Wasn't afraid to let my 17 yr old roam alone at night.
Negatives:
Parking $60 a day. The room was very pricey so parking could of been included.

The location was excellent - we were very close to the National Mall and by being near the wharf, there were lots of great restaurants.
Negatives:
The weather was not the greatest, but that is Mother Nature - no control over that

Location
Negatives:
The bar staff was not competent
The front desk was so slow people lined up 5 deep
Very expensive
I am a Hyatt member, and feel for what was being charged, $400/night, the property should have employed more staff, and staff better trained to be attentive and crisp

Positives:
Compared to other prices, this was the best. The room was a good size and comfortable. The staff that was there was friendly, for the most part. Location was amazing.
Negatives:
Breakfast was terrible. Needs a lot of improvement. They were so understaffed for how busy they were. There weren't enough tables every morning at breakfast. The room was booked for 3, but not setup for 3. We had to call and wait for them to bring sheets and a towel.
