What did we not like! The staff were awesome! The room was very clean , great amenities, the 3rd floor with restaurant, pool and deck was just beautiful as it overlooks the Diamond Head mountain. Did we mention how close to the beach this beautiful hotel is ?

The decor, comfort and cleanliness of the beds and furniture, the front desk, valet and concierge customer service. This hotel is one that I try and frequent on every trip back 'home' to Hawaii, dating back to the 80's as my parents got married here. Over the years, the service and quality has just improved. This last visit was a pleasant surprise, from the leis and juice at check in, to the cleanliness of the grounds (common areas and the room itself). Valet parking was a breeze as was check in. We called late night for more blankets for the pull out couch and someone arrived with freshly laundered (still warm from the dryer) linens in under 10 minutes, and we were on the top floor. Will continue to stay here every Hawaii visit.

The rooms were too small ,there wasn’t enough storage space for 4people and not enough hanging space
The man on the desk was moaning when I was paying my bill as he had to count out 10 single dollar bills as well as the rest ,he said for Gods sake
I told him if he can’t count he shouldn’t be in a job just to used to people paying by card !

Positives:
Location was perfect. Not right downtown but also a two minute walk to everything you need. Not to mention the beach access was 2 mins away also!
Negatives:
Can’t say there was anything I didn’t like specifically but one of the elevators were down off and on which added minimal wait times again more of an inconvenience but no biggie

The location near the park was wonderful and much less busy and touristy, beach was just 30 seconds from the hotel. Woke up early for my flight and had coffee to the sounds of birds in the trees! The staff were friendly and helpful always and the room was clean and comfortable, with excellent views of Diamond Head and the ocean. Café in the lobby and restaurant at pool level were both great. I had a wonderful time.
