The Corridor smelt like someone puked. The Xmas tree was cut into multiple pieces and spread all over(not a big deal but....) There was a Rigid vacuum and a Dewalt drill just randomly sitting on the floor in different locations and didn't see any workers around.
The Hot tub was inoperative
There was stains on my comforter
I waited 7 minutes after the waitress greeted ( not sure how long it was before I started timing it because I think they forgot about me)me to take a seat and see if I wanted a drink. There was only a group of 6 and another couple in the restaurant. Staff were very friendly but....
The drink machine was almost empty with only 2 or 3 kinds to choose from
I've been staying there "almost" every 2 weeks on business for the past year and this stay has to be the worst experience and now I'M debating at switching hotels....I should've taken pics of some of my complaints but the only one I took was the stains on my bed

Staff were very pleasant / helpful. Rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast was excellent. On site restaurant/ bar.

We wanted to take wine glasses to our room. We were told by the staff that they were not allowed to let us have them, as there had been some breakage. This is RIDICULOUS. We have been in hotels all over Canada and the world. First time EVER that we couldn't have a wine glass to enjoy a drink in our room. For the price of the room, a broken wine glass is INSIGNIFICANT. Further, if we break a glass, charge me for it. Just don't ask me to put up with a plastic cup. Too tacky, especially considering our otherwise exceptional stay.

Nothing I wasn't given a room and I'm still trying to get a refund from bookings 2months later. I booked my room, got to the hotel 5mins later and when I went to the front desk they claimed to have no rooms available to rent and that they didn't have my reservation from bookings.com in their system. After over 20mins of trying to get a room from them (they had no normal rooms but claimed to have rooms reserved for business or some BS and couldn't give me one) so I had to call around to multiple other hotels trying to find an available room

Great free breakfast in the restaurant right in the hotel (a step up in quality compared to the usual free continental breakfasts you'll get in the major similar hotel chains).
Great having a few picnic tables outside and a lot of green spaces to walk your dog (pet friendly hotel is a big plus as well)
Nice quite area near the hotel

Water in the hot tub could have been changed a little more often
