Positives:
It's still a somewhat newer hotel with good size rooms and comfortable beds. It's in a good location for views of the water. Parking is out front and seems safe.
Negatives:
#1 Booked two rooms though booking.com and requested that they be close together months in advance. When we arrived they had us setup with two rooms on separate floors!! I asked them if they received my request for the rooms to be adjacent and they blamed booking.com as not being good at passing along that sort of information. They did work to accommodate but someone dropped the ball on that one (especially when the total price for two rooms = $517.48)
#2 Disposal did not work
#3 Old Coffee was still in the Coffee Pot
#4 No Cream for Coffee in the Room
#5 My Twin 8 year old boys found hair in the bedding.
#6 Room Smelled like a Wet Dog (see they do allow animals). Smell slowly went away with running the AC.
#7 Pocket Door for Bathroom would not stay open - would slide back on it's own. Had to put Towel in front to hold in place.
#8 Dishwasher was not unloaded from previous guests.
#9 Body Wash in Shower was completely out!
#10 They only have 3 Towels and Washcloths in the room when they know in advance there are 4 travelers!!!
#11 Only one elevator was working. They said it had just gone out but it was a bad time for it to break down especially since it was the Friday of Easter Break Weekend. Very busy!
#12 The Fire Pit was not on. Every time we have ever stayed there that was working. Not sure if this is why but it was raining when we arrived and the overhead structure is really not a roof. More so an architectural structure with openings.
#13 We have been going to this hotel for years whenever traveling to Florida from the Toledo Ohio Area. Every time in the past it has been a great experience. This time the Hotel seemed more run down. They took out the Drink and Juice Machines and replaced them with little juice Cranberry Juice cups that didn't contain much and were very hard to drink out of (shaped like Yogurt). Did not see Orange Juice. The Food area was running out of stuff left and right.

Everytime the heater came on it sounded like a jet plane preparing for takeoff. Breakfast was not great. At 7 am my husband and daughter went down to check it out and there was no meat and no fruit and no biscuits for the gravy.
