Ok
Positives:
The studio room is a stand alone building, not adjacent to other rooms.
The small table with eating utensil, cups, plates, forks adds a warm touch.
The TV has digital cable.
Negatives:
Heat could be a bit noisy.

Very good
Positives:
We enjoyed the hospitality by Mr. Max. We liked having 2 rooms and a kitchen which was a plus.
Negatives:
The lodge is a bit outdated and could benefit from new flooring throughout. The restroom shows lots of water damage on the walls around the shower. The beds were a bit uncomfortable lots of lumps and a little hard. The kitchen was also okay, plenty room in the fridge and freezer, the exhaust did not work above the stove, the kitchen utensils and plate wear were still dirty from previous use.

Positives:
The bed was comfy, the amenities good. The place is in need of some tlc but that's not a problem for the price. The country kitchen across the street was very handy for breakfast. There was a nice pool and playground for kids if needed. BBQ is there but you need charcoal and lighter. They had hbo and some other channels so it was nice to watch movies. We didn't use the fireplace but that was a nice touch.
Negatives:
The only suggestion I would make is a mat for the tub, it was a bit slippery. We were going to get one at the 99cent store and leave it but they didn't have any. Also, the tack strip on the carpet at bathroom door had worn and stepping on the tacks wasn't fun. I would suggest some lids on trash cans as the crows were pulling things out and scattering trash.
