Days Inn by Wyndham Fresno South

Negatives: there was confusion about the reservation. I tried booking it on the road but couldn't get a confirmation (mostly). Sometimes I did, sometimes I didn't. When I got to the hotel the rate was higher so the staff member told me to have a seat and get a lower rate with my phone. I did again and when I went to the desk, it had not arrived in their computer. They sold me a room at a higher rate. When I got to my room, I received an email that my reservation had been completed. I went to the office and they said that "no, I didn't have a reservation, and if one came through they would cancel it". And they were sure I was not to be charged twice. I went back to my room thinking that this was the situation, but the next day I got an email (from Booking.com) asking why I hadn't showed up at the motel. Now I don't know if I was charged twice or not. Then, the neighborhood was so seedy and filled with homeless people, drugged and walking through the parking lot, that my husband stayed awake and moved his truck closer to the room, in case it was broken into. We were both awake most of the night, listening. The room wasn't clean and felt unloved.

Negatives: Very dirty room. A lot of homeless outside, police everywhere.

Negatives: Room smells and there was no cups for the coffee machine.toilet has running water all night so I had to open the lid and make sure the valve was close so water can stop leaking
