Large room and beds. Location excellent close to a metro station, Hollywood walk of fame, Runyan canyon, and a safe quiet space off the main streets
Negatives:
Drinks prices were steep but may be Hollywood. LA has alot of homeless and rough sleepers which was a little intimidating but the hotel felt safe and welcoming.

The best location - right behind Hollywood Blvd. Walkable to all the main Hollywood sights as well as Runyon Canyon and only a 10-15 minute taxi away from Universal Studios and The Grove. Pool was fab with a view of the Hollywood Sign and I was impressed with the gym facilities.
Negatives:
I stayed here in 2019 and really liked it so decided to choose it again for our trip, but it has become very run down. Our room was falling apart a bit which was a shame when it was a higher price point than a lot of our other stays in the USA. Shower head falling off, loads of scratch and scuff marks over the walls, tiles missing in the bathroom - a shame to see it like this when it was such a beautiful hotel only 5 years ago.

Valet guy sarcastic about explaining “self park” like it was common sense but it’s not because most hotels have their own parking designations not sharing with a mall. This also needs to be stated in your website or booking.com site.
