Extended Stay America Suites - San Jose - Milpitas - McCarthy Ranch

Negatives: We had a room on the first floor right by the lobby. No curtains on our window, just these pull down blinds, so the light in the parking lot shined right in our room. No nightlight was needed, we had a difficult time sleeping because of those. The to-go breakfast was very underwhelming. Granola bars and packaged muffins. Not at all like the photos. We had 4 kids and were expected to be the loudest room in the place, but we were wrong. The room above stomped until 11pm or so. Sounded like someone was jumping back and forth.

Negatives: Room wasnt fully clean. The most touched areas werent clean. Bathtub and wall of tub had hair on it. Handles on sinks and bathtub were noticeably used. Fridge was dirty. Some of the towels had stains and bits of pieces of hair in it.

Negatives: cockroaches in the room worst breakfast I've ever seen - coffee, muffins and cereals

Negatives: Not well lit property so did not feel safe walking to from room

Negatives: I recently stayed at Extended Stay America - San Jose/Milpitas with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find the room infested with cockroaches, including in the utensils, bathroom, and kitchen area. As a parent with a 14-month-old child, this posed serious health concerns for us. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff and requesting a refund for that day, we received no resolution or acknowledgment of the severity of the situation. The lack of action taken was deeply concerning. I even provided photographic evidence of the infestation, hoping to expedite the process, but to no avail. Overall, the unsanitary conditions and lack of response from the staff made our stay extremely unpleasant and left us feeling neglected as guests. I strongly advise others to exercise caution before booking a stay at this property, as our experience fell far below expectations.

Negatives: Everything is Perfect.

Negatives: I paid for a non-smoking room, but they gave me the smoking room with the very strong smoking and marijuana smell. After they change the room for me, the smell is good but the AC was not stop blowing even I try to turn it off. It's very loud too.

Negatives: The guy at the front was ok but not super friendly. It was a little grimy outside of my room but when I got in the room it was downhill. Greasy handprints on bathroom door. Huge clump of hair in shower, hair in the sheets. And just filthy along the floor edges. I kept everything on a table that looked clean. The walls are like paper too. I was on the first floor and the sound from upstairs kept me awake all night.
