Everything! The hotel is under construction, its a complete mess. No facilities open. Pool closed. Gym closed. Bar/lounge closed. Restaurant half closed. Dirty sheets. No prior warning the place is a tip. Nothing on their website indicates the facilities are closed or construction work is happening. Paid over £440 - ridiculous. Terrible hotel.

We did not know that it was under construction when we made the reservation. The construction crew started on the building we were staying in around 7am. This was not quiet work, it involved power tools and hammers. This seems unreasonable when you are spending over $300/night. We also had to special request a coffee maker for our room, but they were out of coffee cups (mugs or disposable). And while there was an ice bucket in the room, there were no glasses of any sort. Our room had been renovated, but it almost seemed to be partially reassembled.

Great location, but not worth...
Positives:
I love staying at this hotel. Location was perfect, true beach front, close to places we wanted to visit, and places to eat. The newly renovated rooms were awesome very cozy and modern compared to how it was before, big room update. The hotel is still under renovation so there was anlittle inconvinience but I actually don’t mind since I have seen the huge difference from how it was before. This still is our favorite place.

I miss the chairs by the patio on the ground floor. Hopefully it will be put back after the renovations are completed.

The property was under a major remodel, so when I checked in I was informed that the elevator to my room was not working. I am handicap and have a very hard time with stairs. We were on the second floor. The room was VERY expensive and the room amenities were poor. No cups in the bathroom, no coffee pot, no ice machine, no breakfast included for a 440.00 per night! I have paid half that on fishermans wharf that came with a five start breakfast. when I searched this booking I asked for all the things that ended up NOT being provided! They should update the site.

They show inflated prices, and after the cancelation period has passed, you see it dropping to $148.
I thought, ok, prices fluctuate, but at least it is an excellent place with a pool, beach, and a hot tub.
We arrived, and this is a sad-looking building under construction. The pool and spa were closed a week ago. Feckless front desk staff begrudgingly agreed to refund the "resort" fee. The parking is $40.
The rooms look nothing like the picture.
Also, it's noisy as hell.

Half the hotel is under renovation; none of the advertised amenities are available, which is not stated anywhere by the hotel. They charge you a $170 cleaning fee after you leave, with no notice, if you bring a pet, which they also don't tell you about. This was my and my wife's 10 year anniversary trip and it was completely disappointing. All told our less than 24 hour stay cost nearly $800. Have reached out to the hotel and nobody has attempted to resolve our dissatisfaction. Won't be staying here again.
