Location was ok although there is a better place (s) such as the Gypsy Motel for cheaper price and better view. I had been staying at Gypsy for over 13 days / nights prior to booking at Tides Oceanview Inn.
Negatives:
I have a Per Diem rate for my business trip and i was within budget when I booked , when i arrived at reception i reminded them of this Per Diem rate and was told "not to worry" and that i would not go over for the 2 nights.
When i received my final bill for 2 nights. One night was over my Per Diem by almost $45 dollars.
Now i have to pay this out of my own pocket.

The room was humid and smelled moldy furniture was dirty and ripped as the carpet also pictures were not the same as they advertise on their site . False advertising for sure! you can feel the warm wiring on the mattresses of the bed and to top it off I found a cockroach in the kitchen.

The night club next door and the early construction in the morning. I think you should warn your guests so they are aware at the least. You need to do some more remodeling to your walls and baseboards and we found the phone in the closet...really!?
Your staff seems like it needs to be trained the poor guy didn't know you had to pay on arrival.

There was no air conditioning; only a floor fan, broken windows couldn't open, bed had no head rest, dirty sheets...No ocean view like ad claims. Simply the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Not worth the high price.
