Motel 6-Porterville CA

Negatives: _I was offered a room above the pool ( full of boisterous kids ,parents con music box ) because it would be quiet after 8pm...Yes ,the raucus did lasted until that time ,to be replaced by a car ,blaring music with all doors open and a small party going on tin the parking lot.. After almost 2 frustrating hours of this ,I tried to call the reception desk,but the phone was broken..Walked to the reception and talked with manager who promised to go and check .He did and noise was lowered. enough so I could set the TV sound at a normal level.. .. -Having a locked door between me and the next room, I could hear a lot of what was going on .on the other side of the wall. so I kept my sound at" 7 " level (a little lower than I like it ) to let my neighbours rest .. -The mattress was very soft and creaky..Woke up with backache .. -The shower had old stains on the stall floor and accumulated black dirt ( mold?..) along all ridges .. -The shower curtain had holes in it and it had to be pulled shut forcibly ,the sliding hooks being stuck!... -The room curtain had 2 holes in it . Not a good stay for me .

Negatives: very little

Negatives: It was full of druggies being loud all hours of the night. The beds weren't the size advertised. It was very dirty. The bathroom would flood when showering because shower curtain was ripped. There was mold. The mattress was extremely gross. Etc

Negatives: On the flip side, my bedding had holes in the blanket, there were cockroaches in the bathroom, and the mattress was lumpy therefore fairly uncomfortable for my lower back. Other than that I enjoyed my stay!
