I booked a reservation late. When I got there, (12 am) there were 2 people in front of me. (Only 1 at a time in their lobby) They helped the other guests WHILE WE WAITED OUTSIDE in the cold (37 degrees). At 12:34 am we were informed that they had to do their nightly audit and that they would be closed for at least an hour. We could wait or come back. I left and came back approx. 12:52 still waiting in my car to get my room key. Two other people went to the window and used the guest after hours phone. No one answered. One of them was a couple with two small children. They too were outside in the cold.
I canceled my reservation with booking.com but the hotel tried to charge me anyway. For not staying because I left after 2+ hours of waiting. I think I should be compensated for the inconvenience of having to get another room elsewhere but they want to charge me!

Ac/heater did not work. Beds were uncomfortable, furnishings were dirty, old , I didn't even shower there because it was so bad. Counter had graffiti tagging scratches on them as well at other surfaces. It was what I would call ghetto
