The location was close to family and restaurants. Fitness center was okay. The guy who checked us in was friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
When we got to our room, it was freezing. We called and after a couple hours the maintance guy arrived he had a hard time getting the thermostat and unit to work. He set it at 72 we woke up to 78. It did not work properly the entire time. There was no microwave in the room. Breakfast was limited and omlettes were hard. Definitely not worth paying $250/ night. Maids were very impatient. Knock three times say maid service, repeat twice more without interruption. 9 knocks in a row every single time.

Found out after we got there that the water heater went out so our family had to take cold showers. We were told a hot breakfast was served until 10:00. We went to the breakfast area at 9:30 and everything was gone!

Didn't like the unexpected $10 for parking, random $1.16 charge, random $70 charge, plus $250 deposit hold that will take 5-7 business days to be returned (not including weekends), on top of paying through the booking.com app. I HAVE STAYED MANY PLACES, BUT THIS FELT UNNECESSARY FOR ONE NIGHT. Will not use this chain again. It was nice and comfy, but whats the point if your worried the whole time they might charge you for something you didn't know about or charge you for using the soap.

Location was perfect. Safe. Close to cal expo. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Decor is a bit dated. No charging ports on bedside lamps. An absolute must these days.
