Location to Southport. Starbucks downstairs. Free coffee station.
Negatives:
Rooms really small. We had a two queen double beds and there was barely any space. We had three people in our room and you had to take turns to move around. Bathroom also very compact. Sadly the homeless and drug epidemic has spread to San Diego and it is evident around the outside area of the hotel. No bar or restaurant available so you have to head into town in the evening.

The location was perfect for my needs . Close to everything and within walking distance of every place I needed to go with. Whilst the rooms are small they are comfy . A lot of history with this hotel which I enjoyed finding out about. The guided walk with Pamela on SATURDAY morning was a bonus. Very informative and interesting tour .

The rooms could be bigger but given the hotels history is totally understandable.
