We did not receive the room types we booked. I reserved 2 King suites and got 2 doubles. When I called the front desk to request a change, they said it was not available. I commented that is the point of a reservation - they stated they guarantee a room, not the room type.

Excellent location within the downtown area of SD, wonderful amenities and friendly staff. Full functioning kitchen is a value added amenity. Breakfast is good enough for the price. I would definitely recommend the hotel for few days stay in SD.

I really liked the room with a kitchen, it has everything you need. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, there are no homeless people nearby, everything is clean and calm. The breakfasts are excellent, I recommend this hotel to everyone!

The staff is excellent. They are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They really made us feel at home. Alex, in particular, helped us navigate the city. We really appreciated it. The room was spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. Lots of variety and accommodating many dietary choices.
We really enjoyed the fire table in the courtyard on our last nite

We might have liked being right at the water but it really isn’t a long walk to the property and by staying there we likely found some spots we wouldn’t have if we were at the bay.
