The staff was absolutely wonderful, supportive, friendly and approachable. Really great. I arrived feeling unwell and was offered cold water and check in with no issues.
Negatives:
The property didn’t have a coffee/hot water accessibility for tea in room. I assumed that was a basic amenity provided but was not.

Positives:
Always a pleasure to stay at the Phoenix! We love how friendly the staff are, and the overall vibe of the hotel. It's got a great pool that they keep heated. The rooms are clean and modern and the beds are comfortable.
Negatives:
The area around the hotel can be a bit dodgy, so if you have to walk around make sure you keep your head on a swivel and don't leave any valuables in your car. Its hard to see so many people struggling on the streets, but once you're in the hotel you feel very safe and relaxed. It's truly an oasis!
