i think it's terrible to charge for pets who don't shed. We left no mess behind; you would never know we had pets in the room. This was not communicated ahead of time and then had to fight with staff management.

Love the room layout and space for our family of 5, the room was clean and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks provided for the evening reception and breakfast were great! Love the pool design, with windows providing so much natural light.
Negatives:
The pool deck is not level and, therefore, has a lot of green algae in many areas. It was also a bit dirty with clumps of hair and lint on the floor. And used towels were piled up on a chair. In contrast to the rest of the clean and beautiful hotel areas, this pool area stands out as needing a little TLC.
The hotel parking is spendy, but I guess that's normal for SF?
The hotel room, which is large and spacious, had ZERO towel bars to hang towels. There was one small robe hook next to the shower. So our family (of 5 people) had towels and swimsuits draped EVERYWHERE!
