Hotel made me pay for parking and there was no parking spaces available to park in. I had to park across the street and was still charged for parking. Absolutely ridiculous. TV didn't work. The walls are paper thin.
Positives:
The room was a decent size, overall the room as well as the hotel itself needed proper maintenance. Cleaning, staff that is adequately trained and a computer system for booking that is not always “down”.
Negatives:
The staff is undertrained and did not know how to handle most situations. The manager is very unprofessional and rude as well. He was in sweats most of our time there as if he was at home. We had nothing but problems even before showing up as they could not find our reservation when I called and the manager hung up on me. I had to call booking.com so they could call the manager themselves so it all got sorted out. Booking.com informed me they “found” our reservation but once arriving the manager stated he could not find the reservation, we stayed in the lobby for 30 minutes for the computer to “come back online” after driving for 6 hours. After using my card for the room I had random and frequent charges on my card throughout the stay. Charges within the 100s of dollars. Upon walking in there was a deep stench throughout the hotel as well as our room. The lights flickered and the coat hangers on the wall were broken and hanging off of the drywall. A drawer was missing in the kitchen and there were pee stains going down the toilet as it was not properly cleaned. Many stains on the walls. We asked for room service once from the manager himself and From the cleaning ladies and not once did we have someone clean the room the total 4 nights we were there. The TVs did not work and upon telling the staff they said the manager was not going to be in for FOUR days. NO MANAGER ON DUTY. They did not know corporates number nor the contact for the owner of the establishment. We tried to reason with the staff multiple times but they would see us coming and would go to the little office in the back of the desk and HIDE. Management needs a serious change. Once you let him know about the many things wrong he does not solve the issue, he is very argumentative and acts like we should be grateful for the room. The only reason we did not leave is because we could not get into another hotel that short of notice. We will never EVER be staying at this hotel again, what a NIGHTMARE.
