Negatives: The room was terrible dirty breakfast was awful and it was so disgustingly dirty inside the eating area the coffee was terrible the beds were rocks and the so-called accessible bathroom was horrible no shower chair really nothing that I would consider accessible so bathroom sink constantly ran water you could not get it to shut off

Positives: Location was nice to go to places in the Golden and Wheaton areas. The room had parking right in front of our room. Found some change and a light up plant thing someone left.
Negatives: We’ll start off by stating that the power outage was NOT the hotel’s fault, very high winds and storms knocked trees, power lines and trees into power lines. It was a mess. We went into our room and it smelled order of something like dog or cigarette covered up by something or the mix of both. We fell asleep and woke up around 3 a.m. with no power. Ok it’ll be on in the morning, nope! No breakfast in the lobby and I wouldn’t of eaten due to it being filthy around the area. The stairway up to the ice machine had pieces of trash on every step n this was Saturday evening when we arrived around 5 or 6 p.m. The trash around the hotel was hideous and people hanging around in the hallways. The last day as we were waking up, a person came knocking telling us we can’t extend our stay due to the power outage. Then another person knocked and was looking for a person that was staying here before us. O the shower had enough hot water for my wife to take a shower luke warm by the end but me and my shower was a refreshing cold Colorado water cold. The things that probably go on there, they need just to clean the place up and do there thing but they just stand around creeping people out. O and there was blood on the wall in the bathroom. It stood out with my hat flash light when I was on the toilet.

Positives: I did not like nothing about my stay, it was awfull, I recommend not staying here.
Negatives: Was checked into my 1st room and there was blood on the sheets,2nd room stained and dirty sheets and comforter. 3rd room was dirty but sleepable. Also dirty bathrooms with stains on the floor and tub. And cold shower. I have contacted headquarters of this company and expressed my concerns. Also contacted health department for this facility. I have traveled america for over 30 plus years and this was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I will never stay at another la quinta again.

Positives: The location, west of Denver ready for me to continue my trip after.
Negatives: No Wifi at the room I was. They suggest to me to move to an other room, I moved to an other hotel. I was supposed to stay 2 nights. The corridors weren't vacuum cleaned since days or more. There was almost no breakfast, just coffee, bread with a toaster, couple of fruits, waffles also I think. No juice at all. The garbage cans around the breakfast were so dirty.

Negatives: This was an awful experience. Not only were the facilities unclean, but the front desk staff wouldn't let me change a room to a clean one after discovering the room hadn't been cleaned. The bed was USED as if cleaning staff never showed up. I didn't end up staying here and lost my money, would not recommend this location to anyone.

Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Staff was not helpful, especially when I needed help to my room and when I needed help with getting a taxi. The hotel is dirty, there are few lights, the metal is rusty, and there are no signs to elevators, one of which was broken. I asked for help at the desk and was told there wasn’t anyone to help me. I eventually found the working elevator (outside and poorly lit) and my room. Two lamps had burned-out bulbs, the toilet seat had smudges of grease and dirt which I wiped off with tissue. The sink stopper was broken. The bedspread had cigarette burns in it. The sheets had spots on them and the surfaces of furniture and lamps were dusty. The pillow covers hadn’t been ironed and three were gray. Another desk clerk was on duty when I came down to check out. I’d made reservations for the week but only stayed one night and told the clerk why. He told me Walmart had wanted the property but had then backed out. He said the motel owner hadn’t put any money into the property in a long time. I asked for the number for a taxi. The clerk said I could look on my phone. From start to finish the experience was the worst I’ve had in a chain motel. I was in the Air Force in a performance organization. We toured the US 80-100 days each year, staying in a different motel every night. The La Quinta in Golden is the worst property I’ve ever stayed in. Ever.
