Location near XL, bus and train station,, the beds were comfortable View was gorgeous and the park was right there.

Positives:
Location, price, surprisingly good breakfast included in a very good price. Not a huge range on the breakfast but what is there is more than adequate. Offers Bounce Luggage storage facility, and is right next to the Train and bus station with a good selection of places to eat nearby. Staff are helpful and friendly. Overall excellent value. It is cheaper than most other places and as such you’re not going to get 5 star facilities but for the price it really is excellent value.
Negatives:
If I’m to be picky I noticed a few spots the vacuum had missed on the floor and it’s not as modern as other hotels but really for the price this is the sort of stuff that comes as a trade off.

The cleaning ladies were very helpful & accommodating. The check in employee was not very helpful. We asked about buying food in the lobby & they dissuaded us. It seemed strange. We then were unable to order due to various issues! I think more precise info could have been provided!The breakfast was excellent!!!

We arrived late & barely were able to get a parking spot! The weather really made our decision to stay in the hotel for dinner!

Negatives:
I didn't like that the steps we could only go down them not up the steps. They should put a key lock that works for all the floors. I didn't like that the housekeeping didn't clean the room properly. I didn't like that they claim the gym was open at 5:30am, but they kept level 2 lock until 6:00am on weekdays and 7:00am on weekends.

The accommodations were great, I had a great view and the room was clean and always clean when I got back.

I would’ve given this place a much higher score, but beware of the front desk people repeatedly charging your card for the room, not just for me but two colleagues I have as well. No one knew what was going on, and when I checked out I was charged AGAIN and when I saw it I called and was hung up on. Called again Monday and was hung up on AGAIN by the manager. Refused to explain what was happening with my account, and repeatedly interrupted and was rude. You guys need to figure out why the two computers you have don’t sync up, you tried multiple times to charge various amounts all through the weekend until there was nothing left in my bank account. Figure out your system and at least admit when you’re wrong and try to fix it!

The view of the Hartford Capitol was beautiful. It was close to the convention hall.
Negatives:
The room was shabby. I expected more in regards to keeping up with modern amenities. The bathroom was an old toilet from my school days with a flush handle and there wasn’t a spot to put your clothes. The toilet was so close to the wall it made it difficult to access the toilet paper. All the outlets in the room didn’t hold the chargers for the electronics. I wouldn’t dare walk without shoes on. The room wasn’t worth what I paid. Oh yes breakfast was included… pitiful.

I like the location and the staffers.
Negatives:
If the glass counter in the bathroom can be removed or changed it, it would be perfect. I am 165 cm, and I bend my back to wash my face or gargle, I had to remember there is a glass counter over my head and I should be careful to not bang my head. It's not really friendly to taller people to use the sink.
