There is a $15 amenity fee which is suppose to include a welcome drink per guests, 2 free drip coffees per day, among other things included in the room. When I arrived, it was Easter Sunday and was told there was no welcome drink since The Trophy Room wasn’t open. Front desk gave me the 2 tickets for free coffee. When I asked if I could get the welcome drink the next day since it wasn’t offered, front desk told me the $15 includes other items other than the drink. The next morning, I had breakfast and asked about the welcome drink and the server said that that was the 2 “free” coffees per day. Those items are listed at separate items under their FAQs for the amenity fee (see photo). So really it’s not free since they automatically charge you $15 for it and no option to opt-out.

Super cool themed hotel seemingly integrated with the campus (UConn).
Lots of details and interesting nostalgia about the university in the hotel and rooms themselves.
Staff was friendly and very accommodating - there was a mix-up with my reservation, but the staff checked me in and fixed it on the back end instead of making me wait.
Large room, lots of outlets and decent view of campus.
Could walk right out from hotel onto the campus itself.
Negatives:
Limited breakfast menu.
Not a hit on the hotel, but there is not much besides the university in/around Storrs in general.
