Positives:
Location is excellent. The staff was very helpful and kind. Our dinner in the restaurant was fantastic.
Negatives:
The bed was extraordinarily uncomfortable. So much so that we had backaches in the morning. So much so that we left a day early despite the fact that we had to pay for the second night (at around $750 with all the taxes and fees included).

They could not find our reservation at check-in. Hotel bar added 18% service charge on our bill, which was not intended to supplant a tip for our server. So, 18% on a hotel food service tab, then adding DC tax to that amount is 20% upcharge pre tip?

The staff was helpful.

Both of the rooms we were put in smelled very musty and felt damp. The hallways reeked of weed. When I asked if there was any vending areas in the hotel to get a bottle of water, the hotel staff asked my room number, I told her and she handed me a room temp bottle and said she would put it on the bill. I asked how much it would be and she didn't know. I gave it back to her. There were a ton of very young adults who were drunk and loud. Not respectful at all. We ended up leaving. Didn't stay the night but was charged $450. I can deal with quite a bit but the weed smell did it for me.

Positives:
I loved the interior design of everything. It looks luxurious and the staff there are very welcoming. It even has a bar and restaurant didnt try the food but the bartender was very full of energy. I definitely loved the vibe of it all. It was super close to the arena which was a plus.

Wish it had a microwave in the rooms. Couldnt heat up food. But it had a refrigerator.

The shampoo and conditioner.
Negatives:
The room smelled like mold (which I reported at check out), the air conditioning was subpar because it blew directly into a wall in an alcove and provided very little cooling. I was not able to locate the ice machine after searching the entire floor. The room made me feel like I was stuck in a moldy basement. Definitely not worth the price I paid for the room.

The personal is very unwelcoming and lies to you. Our first night was super noisy. As we asked the reception for the reason, they answered that on weekends it is usually party and loud. When we asked if there is another the next party scheduled the next night they denied; to find out in the morning they lied to us.
We asked for another room, which we got. No excuse at all. That what it is,they said.
Not clean, almost filthy: The water dispenser in the gym probably causes infectious diseases if you choose to use it.
The rooms were not clean, dust everywhere, filthy carpet,
