The hotel is very nice, the interiors are very new and well kept. I loved the lobby which is also a bar with lot of seatings and space to chat and play different board games. The staff is amazing, very helpful and kind, i reserved the room with bunk bed because it was the only available but once I arrived there and told them I was alone they offered me a wonderful room with a double bed. They also offer a free drink for every guest!
Negatives:
The only thing is that they have a really nice rooftop on top of the hotel so you can hear the music in the evening from the room, but personally I slept very well.

Terrible housekeeping; Smoke Alaram bipping in a room at 2 a.m and took more than 30 minutes for the hotel staff to deactivate it; Hearing piping noises and adjacent rooms all the time; Zero amenities in the room, even a slipper; No comforter; The elevators are super slow. The bar wooden table not clean.

Didn't Meet Expectations
Positives:
The hotel is situated in a great location, close to all the major sights and attractions of DC (Capitol, National Mall, National Archives, etc.). Super friendly staff and a nice design-esque look.
Negatives:
Unfortunately the rooms are extremely small. We booked a Corner King, and it was hard to even find space for our two suitcases. There is no sitting option, except a small chair. And the bathroom is tiny. As we were out and about most of our days, this didn't really matter to us. What did matter was the annoying noise from the air condition or piping … we couldn't really figure out the source, but it was constant, loud, and made sleeping without ear plugs nearly impossible.

Haha! We were told upon check in that breakfast was provided. When I attempted to get a muffin The next morning I was told that there was a $5.00 charge. So, I wasn’t happy about that. Also thought perhaps juice could be provided if there is a breakfast. Also….hot water for tea was unavailable at 7:30 am
Negatives:
Tea appeared to be a cheap kind so I used my own bag
I think the room was nice for a single person but I didn’t like the bathroom when traveling with someone else
