Extremely loud music emanating from an abutting neighbors yard made it impossible to rest comfortably in the room, so we checked out soon after checking in. It was obvious that hotel management knew of the problem with the neighbor, but refused to issue a refund upon us leaving, or subsequently after speaking with the hotel manager two days later.

A great place & location to visit different areas in & around Jacksonville.
Positives:
The Hotel was clean, modern and affordable. Ended up with a handicap room which I got when asking for a room closer to the main door, as I was exhausted from a multi week road trip and did not have the strength to roll a cart full of suitcases and bags down a long long hallway on the 3rd floor. The bathroom was a bit odd with one common floor from the shower to the rest of the bathroom but wheelchair accessible. Might need that someday.
Negatives:
Wish there was 24 hr coffee bar and with non milk alternative. International non-dairy coffee creamer keeps forever as does coffee mate, whatever. 1/4 of all adults are lactose intolerant. So this is not a specific complaint, but more for most hotel breakfast bars, or coffee bars. Also wish there were smaller carts for luggage. The big ones are so hard to maneuver in and out of a room esp. with the auto shut door to battle. Again another general observation. Hope someday someone hears this and agrees.

For the I convience of our room having bed big (yea we have the videos) and there not being any other rooms available and being told we have no other options but stay in the room or get another hotel without any other accomodations after driving 12 straight hours to get there told we have no options and having to leave f. We was forced to leave for hours while the bed was being cleaned because it took forever for someone to even show up after we made the report then had to leave . When we came back they only swapped out one bedding and not the other bed bugs travel. Swapping out sheets just don't make them disappear. We would like our money back for the room. Not one person said sorry for the inconvenience or offered to make it right at all. We have two children that were there with us after all that traveling then to have that happen

Two of the desk attendants were truly wonderful.

Extremely loud. We could hear the phone buzzing in the other rooms. Heard every footstep made. Extremely loud throughout the entire place. Ridiculously so. Under beds were gross. Someones socks left from previous stay and just dirty. Crazy smell in the entrance, like a mixture of pot and cleaning products. Smell of smoke and pot coming down the hall and into the rooms. Lesson learned. I understand there is noise in a hotel, but this took it to a whole new level.
