Negatives: The breakfast available was a disappointment. We were told the option out of three we wanted was not available leaving us with a continental or buffet choice which was overpriced and full of carbs. Also, our waiter was not prompt leaving everything to the other waitress to take care of. When the tip is already included there is no incentive to please.

Negatives: Building and room was different than advertised; they have the main building where the lobby and amenities are located, which faces the waterfront. Then there is a very old building which they tried to refresh but has many issues: moldy odor through out the building, warm water that takes literally 10-15 minutes to heat up, and just an overall feel of being in an old building. Another hiding facts are the outrageous expensive parking fees that beat any hotel we’ve ever stayed at: $50 self parking, $55 valet parking.

Negatives: Yes the parking. They need to have a spot only for the guest. You would have to park to far. Also there was no microwave in the room which I didn't like.

Negatives: The service was awful. Beds were small and rooms unimpressive.

Negatives: Over charged for breakfast. 4 people I paid 165 only for breakfast. Not even mimosas.

Negatives: We ran out of toilet paper twice and had to ask for more (4 girls in a room) but housekeeping came and didn’t notice we would need more. The cost for food and drinks was really high. We had four people staying so should have received that amount of beach chairs per day.

Negatives: Dirty water stopped up bathtub balcony did not open 19 years old's next door with music and doors slamming all night

Negatives: Check in process. Staff was not helpful and kept asking us if they can upsell us. They charged us more that the Priceline rate!

Negatives: The way I was treated at the front desk. I was told there would be a $600 Add'll deposit already added to my card and that I had to sign a Hold Harmless Legal Doc advising they were not responsible for me, my party or my vehicle in case of Spring Break Riots. I plucked my credit card out of the clerk's fingers (who had a very bad attitude...I wasn't even greeted at the desk.) and I walked out the door. If there was a rating less than zero, that's what I'd rate that place. -1

Negatives: I did not like the first room with paint peeling on the ceiling

Negatives: For what you pay the standard is shocking. The shower was malfunctioning and the bathroom as a whole was dingy and outdated - something you’d expect from a cheap hostel, not a 340 dollar a night room. Everywhere was dirty. There was days worth of dust build up on all flat surfaces, the ceiling and walls had water damage marks on, the carpet was gross and had years worth of dirt imbedded in it. The staff were nice and helpful when I throughout the experience. When I told them about the malfunctioning shower they explained that the direction for hot and cold may be mixed up and to try turning the shower to cold in order to get hot. This suggests they are aware of the issue and yet nothing has been done to fix it. They did offer to swap my room but at that point I’d arrived in the early hours of the morning and just wanted to rest, plus I was only staying for one night, so I declined their offer. We were placed in a room that was designed to be a conjoining room, with a door connecting my room to the one next door. This was an issue because the door was very thin and did not keep any of the noise out coming from the room next door. Also, the hotel has two buildings. The main building, which has the reception is very well kept but the second building, the one where I was staying, was not well kept at all. There was a bad smell around the whole place as soon as you walked in the door and this continued down the halls. Again, everything was old and a lot of things were damaged with nothing done to replace it. The look of this building almost made the experience scary. I frequent the grounds of Bahia mar quite a bit, and the pool, bars and cafe are very nice. But I would not recommend staying here. If the price of a room was less than 100 a night I would say go for it. But not at $350 for their most basic room.

Negatives: The room was very dated on the lower marina side. Cleaning staff didn't come in to clean on a regular basis and the bathroom fixtures were old and rusty. The elevators on the tower side were so slow.
